The inaugural Sustainable Foods Summit came to a successful close, with highly influential executives coming from across the food industry to Okura Hotel Amsterdam on 25-26th June 2009. A key focus of the summit was sustainability pathways: going organic, sourcing fairtrade, promoting biodiversity, buying local, offsetting carbon emissions, etc. Other sessions covered investing in sustainability, sustainable supply chains and marketing & industry issues.
